Logan Paul vs. KSI 2 fight results, highlights: KSI wins controversial split decision in celebrity bout

The battle to crown the toughest internet personality saw a pair of YouTube sensations enter the ring under professional rules on Saturday as the sport of boxing tentatively held its breath.

With a combined 40 million followers on YouTube and a grudge that dates back to their majority draw amateur bout in 2018, KSI and Logan Paul drew a huge crowd to the Staples Center in Los Angeles and received main event status on DAZN before delivering a surprisingly entertaining affair.

KSI came out the winner in the end by split decision in their six-round cruiserweight bout that was helped by referee Jack Reiss' controversial two-point deduction on Paul for holding and hitting KSI when he was down in Round 4. Two judges scored it 57-54 and 56-55 for KSI while the third had it 56-55 for Paul.

"I've never worked so hard," KSI said. "In the ring, in camp it was tough but I just kept going. I was ready, I was on fire. He couldn't deal with my jabs to the body tonight."

The Royal Family

Every year on the second weekend in November, the royal family pay their respects to the soldiers who have died in battle during military conflicts in British history. As part of the homage, the Queen and members of her family gather for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall which features musical performances to commemorate Britain's war heroes.

England Flood Warning

More than 60 flood warnings are in place across England after days of persistent rain.

Seven severe warnings - deemed a threat to life - remain on the River Don in South Yorkshire.

Towns and cities across Yorkshire and the Midlands have faced disruption and in some cases emergency evacuations as rivers have burst their banks.

Former High Sherriff of Derbyshire Annie Hall was swept to her death by the flooded River Derwent near Matlock.

In addition to the severe warnings, the Environment Agency has issued a further 54 warnings - meaning flooding is expected - and 99 alerts.

Chancellor Angela Merkel on Saturday urged Europe to defend democracy and freedom as Germany marked 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall, warning that such gains must not be taken for granted.

At a solemn ceremony in a church standing on the former "death strip" that divided East and West, Merkel said the Berlin Wall reminds "us that we have to do our part for freedom and democracy".

"The values upon with Europe is founded... they are anything but self-evident. And they must always be lived out and defended anew," she told guests from across the continent.

On November 9, 1989, East German border guards, overwhelmed by large crowds, threw open the gates to West Berlin, allowing free passage for the first time since the Berlin Wall was built.

In time implies that he arrived before it was too late.

The train didn't leave on time, so he was able to arrive just in time to catch it.
